  • Join a rapidly growing and very profitable engineering and environmental services provider as the corporate Information Technology Director where you will lead the ongoing needs assessment and change management of current and future business technology services. You will establish priorities for feasibility studies, recommend system design changes, and implement strategies for new IT systems and software to ensure efficiency, security, quality, and cost-effective management of computer and network systems. As a working leader, you will provide the oversight for Oracle Enterprise Business Software applications, upgrades, and customization.

    Essential Job Functions:


  • Lead, train, and motivate the Corporate Information Technology team.
  • Ensure the efficient and effective company-wide implementation of Oracle Enterprise Business Suite solution, r12.
  • Support the training and utilization of Oracle ERP and Saleforce.com CRM tools to facilitate information exchange, consolidate pricing models, and better promote products and services.
  • Manage corporate network (intranet, internet, firewall, LAN/WAN, domain, VPN).
  • Manage corporate software footprint (email, virus protection, desktop software), as well as corporate servers (portal, local file system, ftp-htp servers).
  • Continually evaluate legislation and public policy regarding security technology and recommend changes as needed to protect the interests of the company, shareholders, and customers.
  • Prepare departmental budgets, including capital funding requests with justifications.
  • Evaluate the performance of direct reports against agreed upon goals and objectives.
  • Remain abreast of technology changes, industry trends, and new IT innovations.
  • Represent the company to customers, affiliated trade associations, and local, state, and federal government entities.
  • Promote a culture that encourages innovation, creativity, efficiency, and personal ownership.

  • BS/BA in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), or related IT degree.
  • 10+ years of Information Technology experience
  • 3+ years of Leadership, Managerial, or Supervisory experience
  • Prior experience with business models that include field service crews, maintenance teams, service/repair technicians, and/or mobile assets is a plus
  • Strong systems and procedures knowledge base with Oracle Enterprise Business
  • Software with software configuration and development of the Oracle E-Business
  • Suite, r12 (Financials, Field Service, Order Management, Projects, Inventory/BOM)
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce.com CRM preferred
  • Strong data analysis skills with expert-level knowledge of MS Excel
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multi-task efficiently
  • Flexibility to travel occasionally (<20%)
