As a Senior Director of Solution Engineering, Americas, you would work with the VP of Global Presales, Directors and Leads on the Solution Engineering team, Area and Regional Vice Presidents on the Sales to continue the development of world-class presales function for the Americas

Essential Job Functions:
You would lead, coach, enable and support Solution Engineering teams in the Americas.
Implement a coordinated presales strategy for the Americas while working closely with direct reports to ensure proper implementation and follow-up.
Build highly collaborative and proactive relationships with the presales Business Value, Solution Architecture and Cloud Architecture teams.
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with all regional and global functions of the company to effectively drive the achievement of goals.
Drive the consultative and value selling approach within the region.
Drive thought-leadership and innovation in the region.
Work closely with the other regions presales leads, and the VP of Global Presales to coordinate consistent presales engagement models and propagate best practices within the Americas team.
Coordinate with the presales Cloud/Partner and Presales SAs teams to build account engagement strategies.
Provide presales forecasting, pipeline development and assistance to Sale Leadership.
Set and review annually goals and objectives for all regional presales.
Contribute to the development of the global presales capability.
More than 7 years experience leading technical presales teams
Highly effective listening and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Experience building Value and Trusted Advisor focused presales teams
Able to travel up to 50% of the time
Experience selling, supporting or implementing databases and cloud-based technologies
Understanding of and recent exposure to modern software architecture and software development lifecycles
High level of comfort providing candid feedback to individuals and teams
High level of comfort receiving candid feedback
Location: Any major metro US
$159-232K $250-$300 OTE (around a $200k base with $100k upside = $300k OTE)
