Optimize Partners provides staffing solutions to tech startups and Fortune 500 companies in the New York metro area, and beyond. Our Client, a digital banking / lending platform for small businesses, is seeking to hire a Senior Funding Manager. This will be a ‘hands-on’ manager who will be responsible for both achieving an individual sales quota, as well as mentoring and co-managing a sales team. The role combines strong sales, consulting, strategic thinking and analytical skills.


  • Co-manage a team of Sales Funding professionals
    Interface with customers (Small Business Owners) to assess their financing requirements and recommend solutions
  • Track and assign sales leads. Collect information and drive the process from initiation to close
  • Provide upper management real-time reporting on the progress of sales goals and targets


  • Demonstrated ability to simultaneously coach and close while satisfying customer expectations
  • Strong background in sales data analytics and ability to use data to interpret future outcomes
  • Adhere to underwriting process and funding procedures
  • Sales background in banking, lending, credit or underwriting
