Description

Our client, a fast growing, VC backed, technology start-up in NYC, is looking to hire a Consumer Marketing Manager to join their team. The company builds and offers an innovative B2B CRM platform that caters to SMB and Enterprise Retailer and E-Commerce clients, and they need a Consumer Marketing Manager, specifically focused on digital, retail, and merchandising to work directly with their large retailer clients to optimize the platform to better attract, engage, and market to their end customers (B2C).

The Consumer Marketing Manager’s role is critical to our client’s success by driving growth in revenue through helping to design, execute and optimize innovative, consumer programs at major retail and brand clients in retail stores and online. In order to be successful, you will have a major focus on opportunities to drive major GMV (gross merchandise value) for our client’s enterprise retail clients. The position will report into their VP, Marketing.

Responsibilities of the Consumer Marketing Manager:

  • Discover and execute marketing opportunities to maximize GMV for our client’s retail clients
  • Help design retail store programs and drive program success from pilot to full roll-out including determining KPIs, success drivers and compelling offers
  • Perform customer research to discover and shape opportunities for the retailer brand clients
  • Partner with internal and external retail store teams (training, operations, marketing, merchandising) to launch, pilot and grow their stores programs
  • Design and perform A/B testing of programs
  • Design and execute digital marketing campaigns for ecommerce, retail stores that drive customer loyalty and GMV

Qualifications of the Consumer Marketing Manager:

  • At least 3-5 years of overall marketing experience with at least 2+ years of B2C digital marketing experience
  • Retail/Merchandising in-store marketing experience is a plus, also
    Great powerpoint/keynote skills
  • You understand the importance of data and insights from the customer first
    A/B Testing Experience
  • Experience with collaborating on a cross functional team
  • Ability to travel and be onsite at client to ensure success
  • Must be a self starter, who is creative, resourceful, and knows how to deliver results
