Description

Partner with U.S. HR and Finance to provide guidance and process payroll for over 600 U.S. employees.

Position Responsibilities:  

  • Process accurate and timely bi-weekly payroll for 600+ professional and manufacturing employees across the U.S.
  • Serve as subject-matter expert, educating employees on SRAM policies, and managing quick resolution of any payroll issues
  • Consult on applicable regulatory compliance requirements to ensure that SRAM payroll practices adhere to federal, state, and local laws, as well as the requirements of numerous agencies 
  • Understand and make appropriate adjustments for the unique needs of the manufacturing payroll group
  • Complete bi-weekly post-payroll process, to include funding HSA/FSA and 401(k) accounts as well as resolving any discrepancies with pay checks and employee accounts
  • Lead payroll audits, such as 401(k), payroll and worker’s compensation
  • Electronic filing and distribution to employees for W-2 forms & 1099’s
  • Off cycle payroll processing (i.e. Bonus or Board of Directors payroll)
  • Partner with UltiPro tax representative to prepare quarterly tax variance reports
  • Upload tax notices to UltiPro
  • Complete year end processes, which includes updating deduction rates, pay calendars and expat year end gross up
  • Act as the main point of contact for employees with pay check questions and partner with UltiPro to investigate and resolve issues
  • Maintain “Business Rules” section in UltiPro, which includes maintaining earning and deductions codes and GL rules
  • Partner with Finance as needed

Qualifications, Skills and Abilities: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Business Management, Human Resources, Finance or related discipline required
  • 2+ years’ knowledge of / experience in processing multi-state payroll
  • Strong payroll systems aptitude; UltiPro preferred 
  • Intermediate+ knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Manufacturing experience highly preferred
  • Proven regulatory compliance and tax knowledge
  • Hours typically 8-5; flex 5-10% of time from 6-3 or 7-4 required to support manufacturing needs
  • Ability to travel as required (approx. 5%)

Salary Compensation

Compensation:
   Base:               $60,000 - $72,000
   Incentive:        Bonus potential up to 33%
