As Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing long-term e-commerce solutions for our enterprise clients.
Duties and Responsibilities
Lead technical discussions with clients during the Sceneric Discovery Process.
Design innovative e-commerce solutions based on architectural best practice.
Define and publicise integration architectures for the latest technologies to enable future re-use within Sceneric.
Recommend e-commerce application, data and infrastructure architectures to clients.
Contribute to delivery estimates for pre-sales and post-sales activity.
Maintain ownership of client-supplier technical relationship to ensure client satisfaction and delivery success.
Contribute to sales activities by responding to RFPs and attending pre-sales presentations.
Provide technical mentoring skills to both Sceneric and client employees.
Skills / Attributes Required
10 years+ experience, BSc (or equivalent).
Proven experience of eCommerce delivery within one or more sectors (retail preferred).
Demonstrable experience in hybris, ATG and/or other web platform technologies (hybris preferred).
Demonstrable experience of eCommerce system integration (PSP, Tax Services, Stock Services, CMS, Search Engines, etc).
Exposure to Enterprise-wide systems (ERP, Finance, WMS, OMS, etc).
Good understanding of Ecommerce application, integration, information and infrastructure architecture.
Ability to communicate pros and cons of approach and technology choices.
Understanding of industry direction and new technology opportunities.
Ability to understand Enterprise wide impacts of strategy but be pragmatic and outcome focused.
Solid technical background preferred (as a developer or other technical role).
Client-side career background a bonus; Analyst/Design experience a bonus.
Excellent verbal communication skills; ability to express points-of-view, recommendations and present solutions confidently.
Excellent written communication skills; excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
