The Role


Aquilaheywood has an exciting position for an exceptional individual who has the ability and experience to develop effective relationships with customers. The primary purpose of the Customer Relationships division is to develop intelligent, commercial and mutually beneficial working partnerships with each individual customer, and this role plays a vital part within the team.

Key Responsibilities

The Customer Relationship Manager will:
Adopt a consultative approach to fully understand and document the needs of each individual customer.
Develop a network of contacts and relevant decision makers within each assigned customer organisation, and build trust and influence as part of a business development strategy that strengthens loyalty / retention, as well as identifying revenue opportunities for additional licences, Sales and Maketing and consultancy sales.
Understand and document each assigned customers operational strengths and weaknesses, their perspective on what is important to them, their issues and opportunities for us to support their strategic objectives.
Be cognizant of the revenue targets for their customer base and be able to report on progress and achievement against targets set.
Liaise closely with other members of the customer relationship team and the wider company to ensure that assigned customer issues are resolved in a timely manner and that their views, perceptions and experiences are fully represented.
Ensure that all knowledge is captured and updated within the CRM system.

What we are looking for

This role will suit a candidate with a track record of successful account management and/or account development.
Experience and knowledge gained within the software industry and/or pensions is desirable.
You will be able to demonstrate the ability to work independently or in teams, taking ownership for managing small pieces of work autonomously, ability to think on your feet and make key decisions/compromises quickly within a fast-paced environment.
