World Literacy Foundation
The World Literacy Foundation is an independent not-for-profit charitable body, founded in 2003.
We acknowledge education as a basic human right and believe literacy unlocks the door to a life of learning. Higher literacy levels enable people to overcome the barriers of poverty and disease with the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Underpinning many of our literacy programs is the use of new technology to promote literacy. We must equip the children of today with the skills of tomorrow. We strongly believe that today’s technology has the ability to eradicate illiteracy. Working with our partners this goal is becoming more of a reality each day.
